Complain about the site all you want, and we probably won't ban you!

As to number 4 above..... I highly do not recommend community call outs. With peoples attitudes on here you are asking for trouble and with how easy you can find someone's location with a IP address I would highly advise against any verbal confrontation on here. Next it will be please post receipt so I know I'm not over paying. We are all adults on here a quick Google search can tell you the value of something if you aren't willing to do the work then get off the site. If you are going after the ones who over price their items bc they know they will get low balled then why not issue points to ppl who make stupidly low offers? Had a guy last night offer me. $200 used gun for a $600 used gun why don't we get rid of those ppl? Ideas like this can bring this website down fast. Be an adult do your research if you over pay it's your fault if you are gullible enough to take a low ball offer well you deserve it. Some ppl want every penny they spent (purchas price, taxes, shipping, FFL fees etc) but majority of ppl on here don't think it should be factored in (neither do I) but to each their own.
As you say, be a man, if they put up high prices the balance is gone bring lowball requests. Thats why I say let the community govern it, not ban or issue points. Is that why there's no callouts? People are afraid? I take from a minimum 2-3 sources if possible when pricing, js. I respectfully disagree.
However, you've actually gave me an idea. Would be cool if each ad or when posting an ad, there were hyperlinks and suggestions to what the firearm is worth used. Integrate an AI feature allowing the users to make a well informed decision on post/ purchase.

You can't control what someone lists something for. I bought a gun for $1000 plus extortion tax few months later the s.o.b. was put on 50% off. Now do you think I'm going to take less than half what I paid for a gun just to meet a failing gun market? Well hell no. Just bc you can find a gun on sale or gun parts on sale doesn't mean the person didn't pay way more than that in a retail setting. Plus you have "vendors" on here telling ppl well I get such and such at a discount from so and so bc Im a distributor so I'm not willing to pay you the 600 asking price will you take 150. Needles to say I would say go politely f yourself.

If you are so worried about money you shouldn't be on a gun website buying things you don't need. If you want a steal of a deal wait till black Friday. If you don't like someone's price no need to comment move on. If you're piggy can't afford what you are looking at maybe you shouldn't be looking just saying. Work more over time, get a better job, or best thing become self employed stop making other people rich.

Lol, is this the be a man part? I make plenty sir. With two businesses and a job. Don't you worry bout this lil piggy. Sounds like you've made some poor purchase decisions yourself. But yes, if the firearm is used it is depreciated unless its a relic or something unique. You dont have to go f yourself, I do recommend making better purchases and not getting emotional. 5 negs, 1 for fake product.

Hence why this is not a hobby that one is going to make money on. Heck, even I've noticed just how slow most guns are moving at this point both in my LGS, on ODT, and guns.com. I've been sitting on my Remington 870 for MONTHS and I'm about ready to just keep it rather than take the bath I know I would on the darn thing.

A week or two ago, I saw a used, higher-end AR pistol on ODT for nearly half of what it's worth new because, unfortunately, things aren't selling for close to what they were bought for new.

Yesterday, I was looking at a different used, but still high-end AR pistol on guns.com and it's a nearly $2,000 AR pistol (new) for $1,300.

Even gun stores make 5-10% on new firearms, far more on used. Volume > margins at that point.

Yep I have 5 negatives over 13 years stuff happens but also have over 300 trades with 180 positive feedback, fake sights nope if I would have known how to dispute that I would have but I was new. Yup made some horrible decisions because I'm a impulse buyer but I have the money to back it. I'm not afraid to say I have bought stupid stuff, hell I have listed stuff for more than it's worth due to ignorance, 'm not afraid to admit it I don't have any shame I'm human. I'm not perfect never will be I'm not better than anyone else . And guys I'm so tired of people thinking door dash, Uber, insta cart are businesses.

Also it's already part of the rules partially but when people only comment a smiley/laughing face/crying face without a comment in someone's page being a smart*** they should automatically be banned for a day. With each consecutive adding a day. If any person has a issue with someone's ad be a man pm the person discuss it with them don't hide behind a smiley.
Plus you have got to love the guys who set there page to private lol

People are broke they do not have any cash flow. They are buried in debt.

Why can't people do their research like we do?

Just like a car lot. I've seen some really good deals. Sometimes you just have to make grown-up decisions. Not fun, it's life.
