Concealed Carry Permit Help Needed

I recently moved to Florida and got a Florida Drivers License. However, I still work in ATL and have a GA Concealed Carry Permit. Anyone think this may be an issue not having a FL Concealed Cary Permit?

I intend to get one, but the office hours in my FL county pretty much suck and its $200.

So the question is, does Florida's reciprocity for GA's GWL holders still apply if you become a resident of Florida?

I think NOT.
FL reciprocity for gun permits only applies to "nonresidents" of that state.

Yeah, uh big problem. I was in Oklahoma and toyed with the idea of getting an Oklahoma drivers license and carry permit. After reading all the rules I found out that if you changed your Oklahoma drivers license for another state your Oklahoma carry permit instantly became void.

Wouldn't be surprised if other states had similar clause.

That's the damn truth... I ended up getting my application in and paying the money. The only good thing is FL accepted my DD-214 in lieu of having to go through a concealed carry class and the will also expidite veterans applications. So its not all bad.
