So you're say that all of the planes going over head leaving trails are running failing auxiliary power units in flight? You do realize that they don’t run after the engines start don’t you? Let me guess they have built in diverters so the smoke doesn’t come out in a single trail too?
Does this explanation make sense to you? A malfunctioning APU!
