Convertibale top repair

Two recommendations that are a small drive from you: RSpeed in Marietta specializes in Miatas and are good guys to deal with and do great work, there's also Sport Motoring in Decatur which is just as good as the first recommendation. You could also check on MX5Atlanta.com, there are a couple local vendors on there (in Suwanee and Lawrenceville) who specialize in parting these cars out, they generally have great (used, no hole) tops already mounted on the frames for sale for less than you can get them new. They install very easily like that, that's what I did for the current top on mine.

Thank you. I will check them out. More money I can save, more gun stuff I can buy.:)

No problem! I know what you mean.

Be sure you replace the rain rail if it's needed, most rails generally cannot be reused unless they're one of the aftermarket rubber-type rails that have been on the market for the past few years. If it's an OEM replacement and it's bad it'll be pretty brittle and will crack, generally at the base of the rail, because it's plastic. If you try to reuse an old one you can end up with water in the cabin and trunk after a good rain.

Exotic Top and Trim in Lawrenceville replaced the top on my Honda S 2000, and did a outstanding job. His shop doesn't look like much, but don't let that fool ya. He is a really nice guy and does quality work.

There is a guy just south of the quick trip off of Peachtree industrial at tilly mill I think it is that I took two Porsches to to have new tops put on and he was the most reasonable and did a good job.

I wouldn't buy a top and have someone install it! Most shops don't care for that, and there are big differences in quality. Check if they will allow that, in our business we all have the waffle house sign would you bring your bacon and eggs to them to cook for you why would you bring your parts to us to put on! Get the price with their parts installed, you may not be saving much and quality may suffer from some aftermarket suppliers.
