Today, a Federal Judge ruled what I expect to be a sounding alarm to the political forum of gun control debate.

Like it or not, it really does define who should be "in control" of the safety of their own lives. But what do we do now? Please Vote!

Actually, the Judge just upheld an old Supreme Court ruling that the police have no duty to protect civilians or others that are not in their custody. That ruling has been around for over a decade or so.

I got a ticket for littering from a school cop. I dumped out the ice from my cup on the lawn before I tossed the cup in the trash. So I guess they are there to ticket.

My daughter got a ticket once at school for parking in a faculty parking space

Most people have never heard of it. If you tell them they either will not believe it and promptly write you off as a deranged right winger, or just not care and forget it. The idea that the police are there to "protect and serve" is as deep into most people as calling all magazines, "clips".
