I have heard where China is starting to treat some patients with medicine created for the HIV-1 virus. This strain of coronavirus is an RNA as opposed to a DNA type virus. Scientist say that a mid-segment of the RNA is from the HIV-1 virus. They say that would imply a Lab produced variant.

Reminds me of the West Nile virus. Started in this country less than 2 miles from a infectious disease lab doing research on the.........West Nile virus.
Same thing happened with this beer virus, started down the street from their lab doing research on these types of diseases.
There is a Wuhan research center that has been doing research on bat viruses. You can see press releases from well over a year back. This Coronavirus looks to have originated from a bat virus.
