So instead of wearing a mask for a few more months, you are willing to gamble and roll the dice and risk the future of your family and the future of your kids, and their kids, and ....

That sounds very selfish.
You sound like CNN. Contrary to popular belief there getting the virus is not a automatic death sentence. Don’t try and justify your words now you all ready called others stupid.

Hyperbole is useful in creating fear, not much else. The science is out there and physics don't lie. The virus is smaller than the holes in probably 95% of the masks people are wearing currently. It's already been stated in this very thread. And while I know it was a meme and memes are immediately shot down, but think about this. You can smell other people's farts. That means that what was in somebody else's butt is now in your nose. So if you're wearing a mask and you smell a fart (or anything for that matter) that means that the particles traveled through (hopefully) three layers of material and you still made contact with it. Masks aren't going to save you. What they are going to do, and why they are being pimped so hard right now, is that it forces a dystopian social picture that keeps the masses in a state of fear so they listen to the people "trying to help them." It's social shaping and posturing, along with a healthy dose of independent, autonomous virtue signaling.

By not wearing a mask I am not "gambling" anything. By not wearing a mask, I'm hopefully encouraging more people to follow suit. The more people wear them, the more people will wear them and then you'll have a frightened electorate looking to their favorite talking head to save them and tell them what to do. It's socialism 101 and it's happening and you're allowing it...or at the very least enabling it.

whole thing is effed. why are people believing there will be a vaccine or a cure? we don't have ANY vaccines for a corona virus. when the last time you got your common cold vaccine? this is about creating a false vaccine and making it mandatory. then the bill gates nano tattoo. this is a NWO control/depopulation play. GA guide stones much?

Make your choice.
I wear a mask in public because my wife is in the high risk category.
It is not 100% effective, but it helps.
If you do not wear one, it is OK. It really is OK.

What is even more important is vitamins and supplements we take daily. We sent the same supplements to inlaws, since they are older.
I have preducted in February that there would be no supplements in stores in the spring. I backed up enough to last for a couple of months for us and then opened a side business of supplement and vitamins.
Not MLM, just a retailer for several different brands. Between providing for myself and all of extended family, it made sense to me.
I do not have a website, just a word of mouth sales.

I'm not risking much of anything, especially for my age category of under 50. Driving my family around in the car is a higher risk than this virus. 40,000 Americans die in car crashes each year, yet we happily drive around everywhere not giving it a second thought.

Look in the mirror.

You are acting like I am asking you to shelter in place. I am not.

I say get your lazy butt to work and then get out and spend that hard earned money.

I'm suggesting the best path forward is to take a very minor precaution and wear a face mask for a few more months IF you're indoors in public.
