My uncle has seen a black panther with a cub in Elbert. Another friend of mine has seen a brown one cutting right of way near Toccoa.

Not a 100% positive id, but it sure is worth the question.....do we have the occasional Cougar come thru?? This was South East Georgia on the Ogeechee River....

Lots of cougars in Peachtree City. I usually see them in Kroger or Publix.

If you read the comments, I find it funny that most of the sightings in Georgia are of black panthers. Living in Bartow county, I always heard stories of the black panthers that roamed Pine Log WMA.

My wife is from Calhoun and her dad told me of the black panthers that roamed John's Mountain.

It seems whatever area you are from, there are black panthers.

When I was young it was big foot, he (assuming it was a boy)was everywhere.
