honestly matters what you use it for, if your constantly cutting on it and throwing hot pans on it then something like granite, if your generally alot gentler on it and dont put hot pans on then it opens up to tons of different options such as marble, i have a brother in law that did corian for awhile and they did some crazy looking stuff, have also seen hardwoods sealed that look really good. all just matters on how hard you are on them.

My wife is hard on the current counter tops and So am I. So a more durable surface is needed.

Granite masters in Atlanta does all kinds. I’m having mine done soon. My buddy had his done recently and was very pleased with them. Quartzite is another nice option. Currently I have 1988 butchers block.

I forgot to mention that granite masters was 5k cheaper than the cheapest local price,per my friend.

I just started experimenting with this stuff. Gotta play with some different brands of epoxy and torture test a little before I do anything for a client.
