Crappie on Lanier?

I know we're talking Crappie in this thread - But

Yesterday I caught the biggest Largemouth Bass in the Etowah river that I've ever caught.
Six, six and a half pounds on a black and silver size 7 Rapala Shad Rap.
I had a total of 4 keepers in 25 minutes, that was fun fishing with 4lb test on a light rod.

I'm looking forward to the next sunny day. It's a great way to stay occupied and away from others.....
It is most certainly my favorite time of year to fish!

It's funny, I'm pretty old, but I can still get real damned excited about catching fish, lol!

You said it, Brother! I'm in my 60s and feel like a little kid when I'm going fishing. Just the hope of hooking into a couple gets me going. Then, every once in a while, you have those great days, like you had yesterday, and it's magic.
