+5 on taper crimp,looking at you pix there is no taper crimp. All autos I use a crimp as said to prevent bullet from moving back into the case. I always use a go/no go gage, well worth the money, if you get used to using it now when you switch to bottle necks it will be second nature. Remember if unsure, pull the bullet, go shoot and make some more....

Not enough crimp, could cause lack of pressure and lodge bullet in barrel, also as others said, bullet can move in the case
I have loaded tens of thousands of pistol rounds and have never trimmed a pistol case. Bottleneck case yes, always.
This is one of mine, I don't trim cases either, no need
Ok...worked with the crimp...passes the drop test on a case guage...does it look better? Just a alight crimp..

Much better, you can see the brass has a shine to it in the pic where the crimp is, looks good

Too much crimp. You are squeezing the projectile too much. I'm not liking it. Some people have to have it like this. Not me. If your bullet don't look like a commercial load out of the box...it ain't right to me
