I had to get some work done Saturday, but afterwards my wife and I ate at Bigun's BBQ in Talking Rock, GA, then took a drive on GA 52.
East of the Cohutta Overlook, we spotted a Bobcat running across the road and trot up a hill. About 20 yards away from the Bobcat was a Black Bear standing next to a tree. Unfortunately, we have no video of that since it happened so quick. Lucky Bobcat, the bear turned his attention to us.
We continued west, past the Cohutta Overlook, and spotted a Fox sitting at the entrance of a cabin community, just watching cars go by. While my wife was getting video of it, I looked in the rear view and saw a momma bear and good sized cub crossing the side road in back of us. She did manage to get some video of that as well.
We don't normally see a lot of critters in that section, until this spring and summer. Bears have been active in that area this year for whatever reason.
