Mine too but I was lucky in the mom department. She picked out the bones and skin before using the salmon.

NyQuil! Sounds like I ain't only one with this crud. Still trying get rid of upper respiratory infection! Had it 9 days now! Went do to Monday for shots pills and cough medicine. Drank about gallon ginger honey and lime juice! Still got it, seems better today! Nothing like salmon croquette, biscuit , gravey , cream taters and sliced mater! Mom used to cook it on Saturday morning for breakfast ! Good eats! Thanks for the memories!

In the 70's canned salmon had bones and skin inside. Mostly sections of spine. Not always, but sometimes. Mackerel too.
