I bought some rage crossbow broadheads today at a discount price. I figured I would shots them in my bow. The impact collar is the only difference I can tell. Do you think the blades will release shooting them with my bow?

They worked for me this season. I was shooting and Excalibur 308 Shot crossbow .

I’ve had two failures with rage broadhead.
I started using shwackers and haven’t had one failure.
I retire them after three kill shots or when they don’t appear mechanically sound .

Their design is much better than the rage tips that swivel and the blades are slotted where they meet the affixing pin.

The shwackers are not slotted at the pin so they have no way to bind up during impact or flight.
They’re also devastating as I’ve killed roughly 20 deer using shwackers and not one ran more than 100 yards with most dropping right there or within 40 yards from a heart shot.
A double lunged deer may run 100 yards tops.
I also darn near severed a deers front leg at the shoulder going for a heart shot which I hit the mark.
You can’t go wrong with fixed broadheads but if you’re going mechanical I wouldn’t think twice about the shwackers.
