these guys were with us all the way to the sea. Had one on either side of the ship. Nothing got close and if they came too close they had company in a hurry!

First cruise we went on noticed the CG patrolling heavily. MG on the bow manned and ready.

And the second.

And third.

Think about it - 3,000+ folks in one spot would make a juicy headline.

Glad to see the CG looking after us!

Amen those guys are on point! Wasn't thrilled at first either about going. Been on a good many but we all had a great time and watched the sun rise every morning and disappear every evening. It still amazes me how a faint glow in the morning in 5 minutes is a ball of fire..then the same in the evening it just winks away. Will admit not even a knife makes you uncomfortable.

I attended a joint services school a long time ago and I remember the CG students were held to and expected to perform at a higher standard than the rest of us mooks. It's fun to have a laugh but these folks are serious about what they do everyday in an under appreciated but necessary job.
