Current sapelo island hunt first day.

Only two deer taken out of 50 guys.
Very low yield.
Guy on our trailer got a
Decent sized 4 pointer.

I saw a record monster but it came up behind me with no warning or time to react and it stopped under my tree for a second, turned and walked into the thicket.
Would have been a record buck.
Hope to see him again.
