Current threat level?

Is it me or is the current threat level jumping through the roof. Within the past couple weeks it almost seems as if nut jobs have come our of hiding. I will say that because of it I've opted for 13+1 of 40 and 2 spares instead of the 12+1 of 9mm. Do you assign a current threat level based on recent events or location and carry accordingly? (Ie a low level, so you may pack an lcp with 1 mag, or a high level that causes you to carry a larger gun in a larger caliber with spares)

I carry 90 rounds in 5 mags in my EDC bag every day. Rain or shine.

Nope. I got my P7m8 with one extra mag. If I need more than that I have a backup plan.

The weather is warming up so they are begin to venture further outwards. Carry capacity is determined by what I'm carrying vs. threat level. G21 13+1 and 1 spare, PX4 17+1 & 2 spares, 1911 7+1 & 3 spares, HKP30 17+1 & 2 spares, it comes down to weight and pocket space/mag carrier availability. And as always my LCP just in case.....

With my p7 I can put them in someones eyeball at 50 yards. No need to run. Just pop , 911 and wait.

The one I have is a refurbished police trade in. I knew if I bought a nice purdy one id never carry it. This one is a nice ugly plum colored one. So i carry the hell out of it.
