I have lived thru is with custom guns, knives and now my new safe trailer...but when it's a luxury item it doesn't seem to SUCK as bad! Everyday I'm sitting here trailerless, I lose money or even worse if I keep rescheduling it's going to cost me accounts, my reputation and so fourth..uggggg!

So I sold my old trailer, after looking around for a day or two... I made a deal with a dealer here in Georgia that promised me 3-4 weeks on the build. (even said it could be as fast as TWO WEEKS!) so I pulled the trigger and ordered the trailer from them.

After the 4th week I followed up with the dealer and this was the response "trailer is in -fab So that means they are in fabrication, which is good. Once they are actually working on the builds, it's generally a week or less if there are no strange hold ups."

10 days goes by NOTHING, sooo I follow up with the dealer AGAIN and get "I was planning to email you and 3 others that I'm waiting on trailers for just now (you beat me to the punch) to say that they are actually closed this whole coming week leading into 4th of July."

Soooooo now my 3-4 week build is going to be on week 7 before they even start working on it again!

I have tried to be pretty cool about it with them thus far but how long pasted the promised date is acceptable for me to lose my mind on them? LOL

That sucks - don't mind waiting if I have the truth. Every business has some delivery issues. My customers just want the truth and they don't want to have to hunt for it. Preemptive calls are very important and they demonstrate that one cares. Good luck & hope for the best for you sir.

What alternatives do you have - rent one short term ? cancel the order and go elsewhere?

At this point, other then just picking up a used trailer their really is no great alternative... Thanks, for the good luck!

I hope they just get it done cause waiting STINKS!

I'm still waiting on a "custom" lower from Shadow Ops Weaponry. In six months it'll be two years....

The stupid thing is, they keep coming out with new merchandise to hawk instead of fulfilling their previous commitments.

Must be one heck of trailer. I'd like to see some pics when you get it.
