"Cut Shell" - turning a shotgun bird shot into a slug

I saw the results of someone doing this years ago and the results were a split barrel, the shooter was not hurt ( I was not present ). Imagine the shot and cut-off plastic hull coming out the end of the barrel at the same time, its to compressed in that area for free flow down the tube or better yet try placing the end of a unshot shell into the end of a shotgun barrel, it won't enter in that direction and its not supposed to. I'd like to know what the choke is or if the barrels are modified in some way. If you try this,( I'm in no way reccommending this to anyone to try ) please let us know the results and if your still alive. Maybe I'm missing something on this it just looks too dangerous ?

I was taught this trick by the older gentleman that took me under his wing. However, in this day and age go buy some slugs!
I've done this before many times, it definitely does work in break open actions but I wouldn't try it in a pump gun because you'd probably have feeding issues. I can vouch though this definitely works, regardless of how ghetto it may seem.
