CZ P07 gen2

I am a glock man but just picked up my first cz p07 an I love it but it's sorta stingy on hps it'll lock up live rounds with strike one fragment rounds. But hst works like a charm.

that's unusual for a CZ!
generally the only problem that you hear about CZ is in loads that are loooong!!
as in hand loads where the OAL has been stretched out and fat projectiles running into the lands. grooves as they have a tight chamber/ short throat.
I don't have any poly CZ but have a P-01, Sp-01, 97BD and a Shadow 2.
they are in the thousands of rounds, the P-01 has never had a failure to function on anything, the Sp-01 just had a failure to fire last week (its at about 5-6000 rounds), light strike, I suspect either a hard primer or primer not fully seated as it fired on the second hammer drop using DA, the 97 same I can't remember the malfunction if it had one?
the Shadow 2 is only at about 2000 rounds so early to say if it will match the others or not but so far so good.
if you continue to have problems call CZ-USA.

I think it's the ammo to tell you the truth. It's new i haven't got a chance to test fire. But it's ejects fine with federal hst 150 gr an winchester white box 115 gr. I'm pretty sure it's the ammo I'm about to upload a couple pics.

An there 70gr.

well first I never try to test a weapon by hand, there is a lot of difference in trying to hand rack a weapon and the speed /force that is there when the weapon is fired.
70 grains is an awful light round for sure, I use a 92 grain copper hollow point for a defense round and it runs flawlessly in not just my 9 MM CZ but all my 9 MM guns.
I would say first the CZ is a duty designed weapon and so is a bit heavy sprung to begin with, add to it that its new weapon and its likely even tighter.
after a few rounds through it try the ammo again and by shooting it and see how function is.
MY CZ have never been overly oiled or lubed but pay attention to the extractor area when you clean it.
I would find some good regular weight 115 or 124 grain FMJ and run through the gun myself, then try your HP after say 2-300 rounds of the FMJ and see how they do.
good luck with the weapon.
