Yup. That button is sometimes called a "trigger". Press it and you get one single shot.

Well im probbly wrong ...i usually Are but from my experience the savage 6a can be run as semi auto or a pull of the bolt can be a single shot...but yes your right pull the trigger once it shoots once...you win lol
