I think they do use the same gun for all of the tests. They just cleaned it before doing the water test. The same gun they shot got used for the dirt road test, and it looked like the gravel test. You can still see the bird shot impact on the buttstock.

The explosion gun may have been new, or the other one cleaned. Still, the gun from the explosion was used in the other tests.

It looked like they had to get a new mag after the explosion test too. The gun still held up like a beast though.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Daniel Defense AR-15s are hands down the best carbines for your buck.

Aimpoints kick some a** as well. I'd like to see an Eothingy make it through...
