My kid goes to a daycare at church so the other day I was running late, in a hurry and way more complacent then normal when I disarmed myself, I guess.....because on my way back out to the truck another father said "he you know you CAN carry here, it's NOT like it's a public school" I quickly came back with that I wasn't sure and hadn't had the chance to research it yet because she just started and thanked him.



Which is a lie because it was one of the first things I did when she started..... and the way I read the laws it was it wasn't legal. (but wasn't looking to debate it in the parking lot)







and before we get the but if it's concealed no one will know, I get it..... it's just nice to know.

If the daycare is honored by state then illegal
But if its just a daycare with no credits and nothing do with state you are good to go

As long as church ok is be careful

IF you are caught carrying at church, the pastor or appointed leadership CAN press charges. Those can result in a second class misdemeanor and up to $1500 in fines last I checked.
BUT, you are in GA and many pastors carry too.

Our church has designated personnel that carry as well as many members. Our pastor's sermons are televised and he gets alot of death threats when talking about abortion and gay life styles.

I would think it would be up to the church as that is how hb60 reads now for carry at church and same for the schoolboard. But not 100% sure...
