Dead Air flash hiding Endcap

Do they work? Picked up a Sandman for the Mk18 and it makes an awesome color green flash out of the end of the can. Looks cool, but not what I want to see. Before I drop about half the price if a stamp on it, does the flash hiding endcap work?
