Dead Wolf Off 575

I saw it yesterday at around 4:00 on the northbound side. I thought it was a dog, then 'yote but as I drove right past it going about 5MPH, it was definitely a wolf! Big one!

in for pics, as for the panthers i could still believe they are around up in the mountains but i havent heard of a wolf around here for a long long time.


A few years back with the Killer Creek HOG chapter we made a trip to an animal rescue place in Ellijay.
Not a place open to the public, but one of our members was a volunteer there and got us in.
They had both east and west coast cougars. (Big size difference!)
When somebody asked if they thought there were any still in Georgia they said yes. for sure.
They said sometimes when one of the females go into heat they'll hearing screaming from the woods and all their animals are accounted for. So it's not one of theirs.
BTW: Got to pet a Lynx, a dog sized cat and an awesome critter. I'd love to have one as a pet, lol.
 
I'm in. So there was a dead wolf that was on fire and cruising down 575 in style this morning...Is that a good synopsis up to this point?
