Having a pawn shop is having a license to steal, pure and simple. They make money on loans, mostly. The buying and selling is just icing on the cake.

He actually told me that the owner really didn't want all that crap to deal with. He just wanted the money. He had enough already. Typical business savvy man buy cheap sell high. Nothing that hadn't Already been said. They really can't afford to sink a lot into something that has no guarantee it will sell so you put as little as you can into it. It might sit one shelf for 3 years whatever the product might be.
