I usually find sgammo.com to have the cheapest 10mm and use their prices as a standard. If you have never heard of unammo check them out frequently they constantly have rotating inventory and interesting/hard to find items.. All of my dealings with them has been easy/hassle free.

UNAMMO 10MM
S&B FMJ - $279/1k shipped
S&B JHP - $305/1k shipped

Magtech can be had on SG for $291.80 shipped, currently out of stock. If you reload and don't have much brass.. or if you don't reload, 10mm brass sells.

Why not own a .40 if you plan to shoot low power 10mm ammo?

If you reload and want to make full power loads, I'd rather rely on Starline than S&B to handle it.

It’s not SG, it’s the GA politicians that mandated the collection of sales taxes on internet sales. GA Republicans are slightly better than the alternative, but they’ve never met a tax they didn’t like.

I have no real issues with the SB simply because I just use it for range ammo. It works just fine in all my guns, and seems reasonable clean and accurate.

But you're right, it's not a 'full' 10mm load (whatever that means). If I wanted something that would take a bear or something, I would definitely be looking at one of the 'premium' ammos out there that pack a lot more punch.

I know other calibers tends to have some variation among manufacturers, but 10mm seems to be the poster child for this.

It's not just GA in this case, it's due to the fairly recent SCOTUS decision and new federal laws on 'online' sales and when sellers have to collect state taxes.

The GA DoR did pull a stunt a few years back where they pressured out of state companies like PSA into collecting GA sales tax. But now if a company sells more than $100,000 into a state they have to collect tax for that state by federal law.
