Dealer transfer fee

Just throwing out a question. What are folks being charged by dealers to transfer NFA items? Im finding some high numbers.

I was quoted $100, it sounds high, but I have never transferred one before so I'm just looking to see what it should cost.

Yes, however we have been doing business with him for over 20+ years. Usually charges most people
$25.00... More depending on attitude...

Another vote for Quiet Riot. If they are competitive (normally are) and have it in stock, best to get it there. They can show you how to operate it and also may suggest a better suppressor for your needs. With the long wait required, better to be informed and not just buy on price. Since these are basically lifetime purchases, a couple of dollars really won't make any difference in 5 or 10 years if you got the right can. Regrets in NFA are costly.
