I have long subscribed to the quantity over quality theory, being a poor person. But, as I have accumulated various less expensive pieces and am less financially embarrassed; I am questioning this philosophy. For instance, I have the 2 7,62x39 builds below. I have over $800 in each build (not including the optics and Flaming Pig), so it is unlikely that I would ever even break even on them.

But, I have a PTR 32 and an AK, so my x39 needs are met. I'd like a CMMG Mutant or other AK magazine AR platform to get away from the picky AR magazines, but do I really need another x39 firing device? I like the cheap ammo, but do I really need/want another one?

I don't do a whole lot of shooting anyway, as a matter of fact, I have never shot either of these ARs. But my unnamed local guru that had to put his miracle juju on the hybrids said they run like a sewing machine now.

So what do y'all think, try to sell the Ars and get a Mutant. Sell the ARs and call it a day or just quit while I am ahead and keep what I have?

And, before anyone wants a build list: I do not keep good records and honestly have no idea. I know the lowers are Anderson, but that is about it. I could comb through 100s of emails if it is that important to know?
