ever tried making your own jerky? Just get the deer processed into roasts and do it yourself. It's pretty easy. I've done them in the oven before but I use my smoker now
It's a bit of a drive, but try Apple Valley in Jefferson. They are a phenomenal processor. I take all of my deer there. And their jalapeno cheddar slim jims are amazing. I haven't had their jerky yet, but the deer I took last week I am having them do that.
