Not a hunter or ever hunted, but I love Venison. Where can I purchase some? I'm sure this is the best subforum to ask this.

It is legal for a deer processor to be reimbursed for the processing fees for meat that was not picked up, after season closes.

You could always ask if anyone has some extra meat they are willing to share with you or trade for something. I dont think trading would count as selling it, but I don't know for sure.

A friend saw a big doe hit and killed by a car in front of his house. Neck broken, shoulders, back straps and hams were fine, or so he said.
