Deer rifle for my wife

Looking for a light recoil deer rifle for my wife. The old .270 is a little much for her so I’m wanting to buy her something she’s more comfortable with for Christmas. She’s a pretty small frame chick so I’m thinking maybe a youth model .243 or maybe a 300blk. Let me know what you’ve got. Thanks.

.243 is good for a woman, an automatic is easier to shoot with less recoil.

Look into the reduced recoil loads too. That helps. My son killed this one with a reduced load .243. He's grown enough now not to need them, but that is what was in the rifle case that morning.
