Sounds like he was a peckerhead with nothing else to do. I tell ya, that would get my temper up for sure. At the point he wouldn't let you back in the lane, he is trying to get you killed, IMO. At that time....all bets are off.

Pretty much my thinking on this, too...I would also point out that he was driving a 4,000 pound WEAPON...At some point, you have to act in such a way as to PROTECT yourself...Just sayin'....mikey357

I had a similar incident about a year ago. I was driving on the connector northbound when an suv pulls in front of me and slams on the breaks. I try to go around and he pulls up next to me and flashes a pistol. I try to pass and he speeds up in front of me. I slow to 20mph and he slows with me. He would block every exit to make sure I could not get off. So I call 911 and tell them the story and my location. What is their advice? They tell me to pull over and wait for an officer to arrive. "He should be there in 10 minutes." They told me as long as I'm moving on the highway they can't help me. They said that if I didn't want to pull over I would have to take care of the situation on my own. Luckily after about 5 miles of aggressive driving thought downtown on the connector the guy decided to call it quits. I am still very confused about the situation to this day.

When I am in my Jeep, usually I am the guy getting passed so I have never had this incident occur. I have witnessed it a few times though.

I have experienced it only once while I was on my Vulcan. Needless to say, their efforts to prevent me passing were in vain. lol
