Biased on something I saw on YouTube (not the smartest move I know) I got the hornady one shot firearms cleaner and lube to clean and lubricate my dies. Is this ok I saw on the back that it has petroleum gasses in it and I think I remember hearing anything with petroleum would kill primers and powder. Anyone know if this is ok to use on dies? I sure hope so I got about 50 rounds loaded up before second guessing myself

FWIW, Dillon spray is better in my opinion. It last a long long time, and is not aerosol, so there's much less waste.

Also, there are online recipes for lanolin and Isopropyl alcohol, which is what Dillon case lube spray is. Much cheaper if you load a lot.

I have used that stuff and did not like it. But it never contaminated my primers or powder.

I have gone back to lanolin. Works fine and no contamination issues whether removed or not.

Not a big deal as others have said. I just tried the HEET/lanolin mix for the first time, can't see myself buying commercial again, works well and cleans up easy
