Why post an ad then disappear for 2 or 3 days?

2 days later after seeing where they had been logged on the site
PM; don't bother yourself with replying, I will not be trading with you. Off to ignore you go.

Then an almost immediate response; Blah, blah, blah, the dog ate my homework, I was in the hospital, yadda dada da.
The only thing worse than a lameass, is a lying lameass.

The best one is, "I didn't know you expected me to reply" WTF?

I added 3 more to my ignore list of 120 that have a serious communications deficiency.

They can't all be millenniums, can they?

Maybe it's just me. Why would I expect someone to reply to a PM?

Here's a possibility:
Sometimes personal things happen that keep you away from the computer.

Several months I was negotiating a deal with someone here. In the middle of it, my daddy suddenly died. I had to immediately go to my folks' farm and help with the funeral, farm, etc. And they don't have internet.
The guy I was dealing with was UNBELIEVABLY MAD, even after I explained what happened.

Sometimes unfortunate things happen, out of our control, that adversely affect our ability to communicate.
