I was just going to say that. LOL
There was a Christmas movie back in the 70's with Darren Mcgavin in it. The box being what the boy wanted was what it was about..can't remember the name. Not the christmas story thing.

We have a great home video of our two youngest attacking each other in cardboard tanks in the living room. I helped build each their tank and added some heavy duty "windows" that allowed them to shoot nerf gun darts at each other, but kept same darts from getting into their tank, so no one would shoot out the other's eye.
IIRC it was a refrigerator box that I cut down.
The audio is priceless of them each making "tank noises". And they were pretty ruthless!

Played with boxes as a kid and still like to play with them at 62 years young when she will let me 🤣
