Diesel additive

What year and brand is it? May make a difference. Lots of replies for older diesels that may not be applicable to newer Emmisions equipped models.

2004 Ford F-250 6.0L

I have a 2006 E350 6.0L with 265,000 miles. I add Dieselklean about once every 6 months when I'm headed off on a long tow with a 5,000+ lb load. I change the oil every 10k, an fuel filters every 20k.

Marvel Mystery oil! Pour a pint in the oil and a pint in the fuel tank!

Gas or diesel. A little sea foam every 3 or 4 tanks.
For my diesels (I have put close to 3 million miles one multiple trucks) I use marvel mystery oil and an additive called "heat", that I typically get at the truck stops or NAPA.

Rev x in oil and use their fuel additives. Guys love it on the 6.0 forums.

He did not run windex in his diesel tank. He may of used it as a water/meth injection to cool his EGTs however in a separate system. Water meth injection is a somewhat common mod to increase power and reduce EGT's.
