The F250 probably gets better fuel economy than my Tundra. I guess reliability comes at a price.

My f350 has 325,000 on it and starts when it’s asked to. Tundra fuel economy does suck according to my son.

4 runner fuel economy sucks too. Wife averages 16.5mpg mostly highway. I got 17.5mpg out of it driving back from Florida. Interstate for 650 miles...

My son has a similar truck with similar problems. I think that it has to do with the diesel fluid system and a re-set. My son got some bum fluid at Wally World and his system wouldn't cycle, and if it doesn't cycle it goes to a mode where it shuts down completely in like 50 miles.
