Just a relevant anecdote. My son was on his 50cc the other day. He fell and started to boohoo. I told him, without consoling him, that sometimes...in a certain way it feels good to get knocked down, or get hurt, or get covered in mud. I watched this concept click with him instantly. I think people aren't changing so much as kids are not getting what they need. No more mudfights or pinecone wars. No more saying Grace for supper, no more asswhoopins. These new breed of kids are hardly American.
