I used one of the restore kits on mine and my wife's. It was just outside though. Defiantly made a difference. If you feel like being a cheap skate, toothpaste works pretty well also.

I hate it when my damn headlights get defiant! Usually a few loud verbal threats will get them back in line, but I could see where a restore kit would help as well.
