Do people lie to you about the guns they "own"

I know a guy who was a ranger and a seal, is an armorer and gunsmith for the NSA (Though not his day job).. has an NSA safe in his apartment stocked with sniper rifles and machine guns that can only be unlocked remotely by the NSA when they need him to do a mission. Also works as a bounty hunter (on his motorcycle) and serves warrants for the FBI and CIA at $10k/warrant... He always invites me to go with him on a bounty hunt.... once of these days i may take him up on it

You haven't gone with him yet? I would be all over it if it meant I got to use MG's and sniper rifles, but only if he split the 10k with me.

Well I am going out to shoot my hi Point 50 cal. bmg. fully auto. with 400 round drum mag, I have to try out the new flash surpresser. and the laser guided rocket lancher.

That would weigh like 500lbs... do you cart it around in a wheelbarrel? :)

Well, I spent my entire Army career in aviation units, so no hardcore stories from me.. But I worked with plenty of Artillery/Infantry/ADA guys that would tell tall tales about their time in Spec Ops, and always gear up like operators and whatnot.

I'm like, come on, man.. You were on a tank crew in Fort Hood.

Had a dude that was a security guard start talking smack one time about everything gun, the "expert". He talked a big game but OPEN CARRIED a kel tec p32. No shiz, a p32 in an OTW holster with a "tactical mag pouch" on it.

Many several years ago in SC on a DNR maintained range, I was attempting to bump fire an AR. After several attempts, I managed to get through an entire magazine. Feeling accomplished, I set the weapon down and took some time to light a cigar and enjoy being alone on the range, until about 10 minutes later local PD and DNR rangers showed up.

I had noticed a car pull up and turn around and leave whilst I was practicing but thought nothing of it...turns out the guy turned around, went up the road to a pay phone, called the police and told them somebody was "shooting a machine gun" at the range. The LEOs were gone in about five minutes after apologizing for disrupting me....the little turd never did come to the range, though.
