Do people lie to you about the guns they "own"

I think I met that guy with the MP5. He told me about it when we were doing a gun deal and I said I'd like to see it. He actually had it in the trunk. As I remember, it had burst and full auto. I just wonder if it was one of those Japanese model guns? I knew a guy on Okinawa that had one of an M-16. I tried a real mag in it for kicks and it fit and locked in. I never broke it down, but it did look real.

Lol.....ok now that makes more sense. All must be true. Last time i read rifle magazine while waiting in line. It sparked up a conversation i didnt need to have. Even my son said dad were you giggling at him when you were talking to him becuase he was full of crap like you do to me before you whip me for telling a lie ? I said you are a observant boy arent you and see how silly it sounds when someone lies to you. My son replied his dad should have whipped him more becuase even i knew he was full of it. I guess the boy does listen to me sometimes.

Of course it was true dude. And if you had hung around, I would have shown you my .50 cal Glock 12 (you don't know about this gun because only the CIA has them).

I don't know how many times I've heard nimrods say that it is not legal for civilians to own a full auto weapon or have a suppressor. There are a lot of misinformed or out right ignorant people. I don't even try anymore to explain about the $200 tax and forms, their momma's, cousin's, brothers, girlfriend's daddy told them so it has to be true. The biggest whopper anyone has tried to get me to believe is a guy that owns a 10/22 so accurate, he can hit an aspirin at 200 yards every shot with open sights........I can't even see an aspirin at 50 feet.
