Bad drivers cause most accidents. The person traveling 10-15 over isn't normally the one gawking at the scenery, texting, fumbling with their radio, or falling asleep at the wheel. They are motivated to get somewhere and typically paying attention to the road.

I don't have the study on hand but it's been shown that driving at 100 is typically safer than 60 because it forces you to actually pay attention

Always do. Acworth would rather sit and wait to give a ticket than to patrol the park across from my house and catch someone drinking or doing drugs or any number of things.On the other hand , when my parents lived in Bostwick , a cop flashed his lights at me to get me to slow down.

I had to avoid a road block the other night. My 2017 sticker either came off or I never put it on and I didn't want to deal with the hassle. Luckily my wife had come through a few minutes before and called me. Like Corey Smith said " If they are really concerned about drunk driving , why don't they stop people from getting in their cars at the bar instead of hiding behind bushes a couple of miles away." But if 100 was the normal, you actually wouldn't pay attention at 100, and your vehicle would be wrecking at 100.

The autobahn only works because there is one exclusive German Engineered freeway. Put an autobahn in most other countries and see how well that works out.

Besides, I work in a work zone.
Traffic does not slow down and I have seen numerous accidents and a fatality.

I am in a work truck with work lights in my work zone and yet somehow I am expected by the butthole behind me to violate my own ****ing speed limit.

I would disagree with this. I do track driving regularly and hit 100 plenty and it never becomes "normal" like 60. A faster speed just requires the attention no matter how used to it you are
