The bad guy thing was someone else's argument. But, yeah it seems you're still saying speed traps are good because they potentially lower ones tax burdenSorry Albert, I can't help you, but try looking at it another way. How about "a moving violation is an infrequent occurrence for most of us, but an increase in our taxes goes on forever for all of us". Which would you rather have?
Also, speed traps are not intended to catch "bad" guys (unless "bad" means because you are speeding) they are intended to take cash from drivers because they are breaking the law. Most people understand that, I think.
maybe I'm missing something.
You've brought a whole new aspect to the conversation here though. Some people flash because they want to warn others, some don't flash because they don't want to potentially warn a criminal. You don't flash because you're like **** it, let that asshole pay for my kids school not me
). The only thing I'm confused about is your not understanding the premise of my first post. And the only thing involving a moral decision is the question about flashing other drivers to warn them of speed traps, and I don't care who does or does not do that. Also, you have no idea as to whether or not I do either. So I give in, besides, I have a feeling you are trolling me just a little bit
.
. I'm out.
