Do you work or run a business.

I own my own small marketing/advertising agency by day and create marketing campaigns, brand building, creative advertising, online presence, logos, brochures, etc.

By night I am a partner in www.tributefineart.com where we sell Ray Simon's work of commemorative prints for military, fire and police that can be personalized.

I've bookmarked a few of you guys for future reference. Love the idea of keeping it in the family!

I own a cabinet / design company. 20+ years and counting.

I just got out of the military, and I am toying with the idea of my own custom woodworking company. Mostly finish carpentry, and painting. But I would like to move into the custom furniture arena.

One big question though, which table saw would you recommend? Kind of like a buy once cry once type of deal. I have been looking at the sawstops, and the Jet Xactasaw. Am I going too big? Thoughts?

I am a tattoo artist based out of Canvas of Flesh Tattoos in Warner Robins, I do not own the shop. My wife owns her own online business making and selling bathbombs (bath product women love) and is opening a boutique/ store front selling clothes, bathbombs, whatever.

I work for my brother in law, we manufacture metal products for the commercial heating and air industry. We also do contract manufacturing and can make most anything out of sheet metal.

Depending on what you plan on making, the table saw is one of the most important tools you can have. If you have the space I would definitely suggest going big if it is in the budget. Think about putting a 4x8 sheet of plywood on top of a small saw and trying to feed it through nice and straight, near impossible. In your hunt for a saw I would strongly suggest searching Craigslist. I know here on the ODT that is frowned upon quite a bit but I have found some amazing deals and lived to tell about them.
On a separate note, THANK YOU for your service!!!

I am horrible in that my answer is no. The cobblers children thing. I work off of my LinkedIn profile and honestly...all my business and repeat business comes from referrals. We're actually working up a site now but paying customers seem to always put that project in the back seat! You could look at that as a good sign that I'm really good at what I do OR a slacker. LOL
