Not according to my chrono. It's hard to pickup indoors, I'd conjecture from the size and shape of the projectile. Bare muzzle, suppressed through a tirant 45M short, and SiCo octane 45 HD.

230 ball is advertised at 950, longer barrels can send some rounds and loads supersonic or so I've heard it said. The proof is in my pudding....or chrono in this case.Pretty sure .45 is subsonic regardless of whether the box says so or not unless it's a hot load. Short barrel, incomplete powder burn means it will remain under the 1040 fps that is supersonic. I'm not claiming to be an expert and thought this was fairly common knowledge.
How do you like the Chrono? Seen a lot of good reviews for it.
Yeah definitely longer barrel has more time to burn powder and build pressure. That's lost out of a short barrel. I think that's why, for a pistol caliber, .45 is ideal for suppressor use.230 ball is advertised at 950, longer barrels can send some rounds and loads supersonic or so I've heard it said. The chrono is 10/10, highly recommend. You can download the app and it will record and run the calculations for you.
I love this one so far.My AR-45 has an 8" barrel, and I've never heard a supersonic crack using ball ammo.
When I was assembling it, I referenced "barrel by the inch" website for data to see where the cutoff for remaining subsonic with the majority of ammo was.
8" also allowed me to nest an Octane/Obsidian under the handguard, allowing for a handy package.
