Does any one know what this is and what it may be worth

Ok i didnt know were this should go so mods please move if needed

I found this knife at my grandparents house and have no idea what it is
The blade has what looks to be a spartan with a swork stuck in a dragons mouth, at the bottom of blade there is a cross symbol with a crown on top, W in the middle and 1914 at bottom symbols can be seen in pics
Any knowlede you can drop would be greatly appreciated

Best I can figure, it is a German boot trench knife. Although the knight slaying the dragon is odd to me.

I agree, although it's hard to tell if it's a 1st Class or 2nd Class, because they look identical.

It's definitely old, no doubt about that.

Same here. And now I'm researching online because curiosity has gotten this cat.

Might be possible for the OP to post this over on the blade forums and see what they can offer for advice.
