Does anybody edc anything really nice or unique?

I switched to Glock after moving to Georgia due to humidity and I got tired of oiling my 1911 every night.

Did you see rust developing after carrying it for a while?

My edc is a Detonics 45. I paid 500 for it new in 1980. It still beats the crap out of anything I could buy new in size, accuracy, or firepower at any price.

I just carry the stuff I trust, it’s boring but works

Pistols: Glocks/Sigs/HK

Knives: Emerson/spyderco

Lights: surefire/streamlight.

-Sometimes it is a Colt Gold Cup .45.....
-mostly it is one of two diff .41mags.
One 6” Redhawk or one 8-3/8 M57 nickle....on shoulder holsters of course.
-Sometimes its a Charter .44spcl nubbie
-Sometimes its a HiPower 9mm

So....to me it is what I like, what i feel like , what the weather is like, the way i am dressed, where i go..... plenty of factors.

Want to try one in 357sig

If I remember correctly, I thought I remember cmshoot saying the P239 chambered in .357 Sig was only available to LEOs. However I do see a few available here, so maybe I'm wrong about that.

My daily carry is a Sig 938 Extreme. Like to carry something nice and reliable but nothing too expensive

Yup, that is issued to Air Marshals, but not in anyway restricted.

ASFAIK, P239’s in .357SIG were sold to anyone. Great guns, BTW.

I carried a 2.5” Colt Python for years. Carry a Wilson Combat Beretta 92 Compact now. Carried a lot of custom 1911’s over the years.
