Good eye on the firing pin -- If it has a serial number on the lower tang - under the wood - it could be a danish 45 rf -- about 1868 - i think --

A visit to De Haas single shot actions provides the following :
#2 rem rb made 1873 to 1910 -
22, 25, 32, 38, 44 rim fire -
later models in 22wcf, 25/20 , 32 cf and 44-40 '
identified by the slight curve in the redeiver to stock joint -- all othrrs are straight -
main spring is anchored to top tang -- others ( 1, 1 1/2, #5 ) anchor to bottom tang --

Remington rolling block, I'm selling one this weekend for 400 (down from 600) and it's in much better condition. I think yours would be worth more with a good cleanup and a forearm, maybe close to a thousand bucks.
