I have been seeing ad's for the RTIC. Just wanted to know if anyone has used one? At half the price of a YETI it has my attention.

That's what happens when you blatantly copy someone else's product and then use it as a benchmark in all of your advertising.

Ordered a 45qt pelican for $199 today so we'll see what it's like against the yeti..

Got it in on Saturday. They hit me with a $40 increase at the last minute but also said I could send it back if I didn't like it or didn't want to pay the $239. I paid it and have no regrets whatsoever. I like it better than the yeti so far.

Good to know, I like most everything about the pelican coolers with exception of their latches. Just manipulating them they feel cheap and clunky, not trying to say they are it's just the feel I get and that being said I will probably own one of their 65q coolers in the future.

I thought that before being around a few yeti coolers. The latches are one of the things I like best. Plus they have a lifetime warranty and are 100% American made. Yeti is 5 year warranty and not 100% American made.

Yeah, I feel the same way. The latches on the Pelican seem much better to me than the rubber on a Yeti.
